Here's how you can help us support our Charity Partner - The We Love Football Academy this Black Friday
gloveglu is a proud supporter of We Love Football Academy (WLFA) which was set up by Christian Alder in 2016 and registered as a non-profit organisation in South Africa that year.
WLFA offers an incredible service, with free weekly professional football coaching to children aged 7 – 14 years from the townships in and around Cape Town
gloveglu have been supporting the charity with products, alongside donating a proportion of revenue from certain collections of products. But this Black Friday we want to go even further to help our partner. Here's how you can get involved too.

About The We Love Football Academy (WLFA)
We Love Football Academy (WLFA) was set up by Christian Alder in 2016 and registered as a non-profit organisation in South Africa that year.
The children face significant challenges, such as unemployment & poverty, lack of opportunities, prevalence of gangs and criminal activity, health issues, nutrition and appropriate clothing for taking part in sports.
WLFA believe that every vulnerable child in Cape Town can learn hope, discipline and life skills through a love of football.
We Love Football Academy improves the life chances of vulnerable children by providing a structured program offering football skills, education and mentorship though trained role models, to inspire children, teach them fair play on and off the football pitch, and allow them to escape the dangers of life on the streets in townships.
WLFA's Mission
Projects Supported
102 Children actively involved
WLFA has helped 102 children take part in football, providing them with training sessions, equipment and encouragement.
gloveglu have helped WLFA by donating profits, alongside supplying kit such as bibs, gloves and training kit.
1000 vulnerable children supported
By 2025, WLFA hopes to be helping over 1,000 vulnerable children in Cape Town escape the hardships that they are going through via football.
To do that, WLFA requires more funding and support by ensuring they have the equipment, such as kits and footballs for their players.

During the month of November, we're giving our customers the opportunity to add a small donation to their order, all of which will go towards the work at the We Love Football Academy.
We'll match ALL donations
Whatever the grand total of donations is, we'll double it and use it to help the We Love Football Academy mission.
