Without damaging your gloves
Soak the new goalkeeper gloves in warm water
To loosen the plastic covering on glove palms, it helps if you soak your new goalkeeper glove in warm water. The water helps loosen the plastic and makes it easier to begin the process
Use your hands only & be patient
It can be tempting to use scissors or tweezers, but don't risk it! Anything with sharp edges can easily damage your goalkeeper glove latex. Only use your fingers and also avoid pinching with your nails.
Rinse off residue
Once you've got all the plastic off your gloves, remember to rinse them thoroughly to remove bits of residue left on the latex palms. After this, leave to dry, and your brand new goalkeeper gloves are ready to wear!
