  • Safe for Machine-Washing
  • Easy way to clean gloves!

Finally – It’s SAFE to wash your goalkeeper gloves in the washing machine.

At gloveglu, we’ve always been on a mission to help goalkeepers make their gloves perform better and last longer. After years of researching latex, testing products, and reviving tired gloves, we learned one truth: hand-washing was the only safe way to clean glove palms—until now.

Traditional machine washing was too harsh. The pounding drum, friction, and heat damaged stitching, cracked latex, and reduced grip. Goalkeeper gloves simply weren’t built for it.

That changes with GloveBag.

GloveBag’s ultra-soft, latex-friendly pockets shield your gloves from machine cycles, allowing them to be washed safely alongside the rest of your kit. The result? Clean gloves, preserved grip, and longer life—without the hassle of hand-washing.

As the experts in glove care, we’ve tested it rigorously. It works. It’s safe. And it’s the easiest way to wash your gloves.

GloveBag – The game-changer in goalkeeper glove care.

Read our Full Instructions for using the GloveBag Safely 👇

The GloveBag allows safe machine-washing for your gloves, but follow these key instructions to ensure the best results:

1. Only wash 1x pair of gloves at a time, using the 2 pockets for each glove.

2. Ensure palms are open (eg, thumb not tucked in) for a full clean

3. Always wash with a full load - Spinning the GloveBag alone could cause damage to your machine

4. Use a regular wash setting at 30 degrees and 900rpm maximum spin

5. Only use Wash & Prepare as detergent. Other detergent products could damage glove latex

Why Wash my Gloves?

Stop dirt in the latex

Latex is soft and pourus, meaning there's space for things to absorb into it. That's why gloveglu works! But it also means dirt can get in. Not just on the surface, but into the pores. Leave that dirt in there and it will dry out and crack your latex very quickly.

More Grip

Cleaner latex = grippier latex. Without dirt clogging up the pores of the palm, you'll have a naturally grippier material. Plus, it leaves room for gloveglu to get into the pores, which is what you want!

Save Money

The average goalkeeper needs a new pair of gloves every 3 months. The average goalkeeper also doesn't wash their gloves as often as they should.

Make it part of your routine and see how long you can make 1 pair of gloves last.

GloveBag FAQs

Ideally, after every time you use them.

You can wash your gloves by hand, or if you're in a rush, just throw them in the washing machine with your usual wash!

The GloveBag is specially designed, and rigorously tested to provide adequate protection to goalkeeper gloves in the washing machine.

The inside of the GloveBag is like a cloud! The super-soft, spongey interior is kind to latex, very gently rubbing away dirt

Up to you!

Some keepers like to hand-wash. Some wear the gloves whilst washing them. Some wash them in the shower after games! That's fine too. Just remember to wash the insides as well.

Be conscious of water use. If you're having a shower anyway, it might be a good idea to take the gloves in with you! Or fill a sink/tub with water rather than running water.

OR - you can now wash them in the machine with a load of dirty kit!

Other products designed for clothes can potentially damage the delicate latex of your gloves.

We advise you only use Glove Wash & Prepare as your detergent.
