What is 'Palm Technology'?
The most important part of the goalkeeper glove is the palm. Traditionally made of latex, it is the quality of this material that determines how much grip a glove has, as well as the protection it adds and how it feels on the hand.
What makes grippy latex?
The answer is that, generally, softer latex makes grippier latex. This latex tends to be more expensive for that reason.
The only issue is that when latex is sofer, it can also be more likely to show signs of wear more quickly that a tougher latex.
The trade off is that cheaper gloves can often actually last longer than more expensive gloves.
gloveglu grip sprays are the answer to this conundrum. gloveglu can add grip to cheap gloves, or revive your damaged, older gloves.
